Outfit: Tartan Lambs Wool Cape - Dunedin Cashmere* High neck top - Missguided Jeans - H&M Boots - Miss KG at Kurt Geiger Floppy Hat - H&M Sunglasses - H&M
What ever you are doing right this moment, if you don't own a cape, stop what you are doing and go get yourself one! No matter what Edna Mode says or how many times poor Madonna falls I will always have an on going love affair with capes! This beauty is from a lovely Scottish brand called Dunedin Cashmere, who sell all manners of things from jumpers, dresses, bags and ... capes!
I am not exaggerating at all when I say I don't know what I would do with myself without them! Seriously, imagine one dream piece of clothing that no matter what you wear it with, or what you are doing can make you feel chic and comfortable (by comfy I mean feels like you're wrapped in a soft cloud all day!) Whenever I have a flight, am filming, driving, travelling, lazing around or hitting the shops, 90% of the time I will have something like this with me! Not only does it make you feel like you've made an effort (I like to throw this on with my PJ's and I instantly feel like a little super hero/fashionista/princess hybrid ;-) ). I am one of those people who likes to make themselves at home where ever I can so I am comfortable and at ease, I always find that by having some kind of blanket instantly relaxes me, so what better to have a piece of clothing that does that for you?!
In this look I am wearing the Edinburgh Lambswool cape in 'Stewart Natural Dress' which you can grab here for yourselves! You are totally spoiled for choice on the site with a huge array of capes from tartan to burburry prints! As they are all 100% lambs wool they are incredibly soft and feel beautiful to wear! You can also get them in shorter lengths which I think is a great idea, I went for a long one for the extra cosiness, so as you can see it is pretty damn long on me as I'm only little!
Whether you guys style it up or down, with patent heels and a clutch bag at night, or a tote bag and leggings for the day, I would love to see how you style capes! Leave me your blog addresses/instas/twitters so I can see how you guys have been rocking them!
Check the lovely Dunedin Cashmere guys out on their Website, Twitter, Instagram or Facebook!
