 Mesh two piece: Laundry Boutique*
Jacket - New Look
Strappy sandals - H&M
Bag - Ebay
Sunglasses - H&M

So the beauties at Laundry Boutique were kind enough to send me this gorrrgeous mesh two piece to show you guys! The packaging was super cute, wrapped in tiffany blue tissue paper and adorable ribbon stickers holding it all together! It also comes in mint and black as well as white, you can check mine out here! I must admit I am tempted to grab them in all 3 colours!

They are a lovely online boutique as well as having several stores and are currently getting their summer stock flooding in, so have more and more amazing summery pieces arriving each week! This two piece is so well made and falls beautifully on your body, the skirt particularly has a stunning a-line shape! While we were shooting this look I was prancing around the streets skipping and dancing and swirling, it looks beautiful when it moves! Naturally in true Primrose style I had to dress it down slightly with these little sandals and a biker jacket, however I also experimented with heels too! That is the true beauty of two pieces, because all year long I will be able to wear both the top and skirt either as separates or together, as well as dressed down or glammed up for events!

They were even lovely enough to set up a code for you guys so you can grab 10% off - definitely worth while as their prices are super affordable anyway, definite value for money considering the quality of material and tailoring. Just enter the code STYLEPETAL10 at the checkout - I would love to see what you guys have got your eyes on, tweet me your top picks!

You can also check them out on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram!

Outfit:  Camel coat - Ebay     White tee - Hollister    Distressed jeans - Topshop    Chelsea Boots - Harry hall    bag - Matalan   Sunglasses - RayBan

Drum roll please... The one step to pretty much guarantee you look chic and like you have your life together (even if you don't!) is... To add something tailored! Yes I know this is hardly breaking news but I have found no mattered how basic, slouchy or lazy an outfit is, chuck on a nice coat or blazer and you suddenly look like you're a person who knows what they want from life and how to achieve it! No matter how awful a day may be going, as long as I have this coat on I feel like I can conquer the world! Without this coat, the outfit would be a t shirt, ripped jeans and boots. I absolutely love a piece that you can chuck on top of anything to instantly lift and pull a look together! Black blazer, navy pea coat or a classic camel jacket, whether you wear it elegantly nesting on your shoulders or with buttons/zip up a tailored piece of clothing will most definitely smarten and chic-ify (new word alert?!) a look!

I could have worn a nice black turtle neck or crisp shirt, or that said pretty much anything as this coat goes with everything! However I purposely wore a very basic and rough outfit to show the contrast it creates by placing the coat on top! This was an absolute bargain from Ebay as my eyes watered at the thought of spending a wod of cash on yet another coat, but then again how can a girl even survive these days without a camel coat as a wardrobe staple? This is so lightweight I will be wearing it to death both summer and winter! These boots are also an English weather lifesaver as they are riding boots. As much as I love the high street styles, I wear boots all of the time, so need a pair I can rely on to keep my tootsies dry!  So many people have asked me where I get these from and always reply with 'Oh really, because my numerous pairs from *popular high street chain ;-) * keep on breaking!' There's no denying a nice trusty pair of boots will love your wardrobe - and your feet!

So go on, put on the slouchiest outfit in the world, leggings, tracksuits, the whole shabang and pop a tailored piece over the top - you won't be disappointed with the outcome! (and if you are, I would love to see pictures of this crazy outfit creation and how you have defied fashion physics!)

Outfit:    Coat - Debenhams    Dress - Zara     Bag - Dingles   Strappy sandals - Missguided    Fascinator - Debenhams    Flowers - iFlorist

Behold - my actual outfit for the Ladies day event! After tirelessly trying on outfits till nearly midnight the night before, this is what I ended up wearing! Given more time, I most definitely would have brought a dress for the occasion, but in this instance I had to scrounge my wardrobe! Now you all know I'm not an overly formal dresser, unless it comes to weddings, etc, so you have no idea how hard it was to stop myself putting a leather jacket on! I was even contemplating ditching the fascinator but once I was there I happily wore it perched on top of my head! You all most definitely have to check out the stunning outfits from the Festival, but in particular ladies day, as the Colour me march campaign mean't everyone was decked out in beautiful, bold colours!

After a leisurely drive up to Cheltenham and admiring the beautiful houses, I met the lovely guys at Etail PR where I collected my tickets, had a little chat and a glass of prosecco! After meeting a few bloggers we decided to venture down the race course together. As you can see we were utterly spoiled with drinks, food and endless supplies of afternoon tea! Everyone was incredibly hospitable and we were extremely well looked after, we were even given these stunning bouquets from iflorist, just for 'looking lovely!' The atmosphere was incredible, and given I didn't know what to expect from the event, I would thoroughly recommend anyone and everyone to give a go, it truly is an experience!

It was an absolute pleasure to meet some new blogging beauties! I spent the day with Olivia, Leah and Natasha, prancing our way around the race course, placing ruthless bets and having some cheeky tipples! Unfortunately I didn't get enough time to meet all of the bloggers there, but hopefully next year I will make it an absolute priority!

Be sure to check the girls blogs out below for endless inspiration and also for their own experiences at the races!

And of course I spent the journey back and following days with my Uggs snuggly glued to my feet, the numb toes were most definitely worth the friendships made and memories!
