Outfit: Slogan tee - Blue Vanilla*     Shearling jacket - Primark    Leather leggings - H&M     Trainers - Allstars Converse at Office UK      Sunglasses - H&M

Firstly can I mention how incredibly cute and pretty is this packaging is?! The parcel was covered in hundreds of little blue hearts, once I excitedly ripped into this I was greeted by a gorgeous little package wrapped in baby blue tissue paper. I am definitely one of those people who gets excited about fancy toilets in a restaurant (it's the little things ;-) ) so I was super delighted to see how lovely the packaging was! Once I had finished lusting over the paper I found this awesome slogan tee inside! For those of you who don't really see the irony, this is kind of designed around the Prada Logo, 'Prouda'/'Prada'... Ya see? ;-) So this was why I was drawn to it so much, I thought it was such a cool concept!

As you can probably tell from all my other outfit posts, I am not really one for lots of colour/patterns/logo's or writing in my outfits.. makes me sound a little boring! But I find keeping it simple means you can layer more to build a look. However this is definitely something I am going to be rocking throughout summer back into the winter months - what's not to love, a wardrobe staple white tee with an edgy fashion slogan? I know slogans were insanely 'in' in like 2007ish.. I remember the catwalks at fashion week being bombarded with huge, brash and controversial writing embossed on to clothes. I love this because It's cute, ironic and well, I am pretty bloody proud of myself and why shouldn't we all be?! This tee shirt doesn't scream mahooosive ego, but it does remind you to be proud of yourself, as cheesy as that sounds! Whenever I wear this, I am going to remember to always be proud of myself that day, whether it's because I made kick ass poached eggs in the morning or got myself a great role. However big or small the achievements, we should all be proud and look at how we have grown and developed!

All of the pieces on Blue Vanilla are super affordable and well made, as well as being easy to dress up or down - I can't wait to wear this with a skirt and heels come night time!

I would love to hear what your favourite pieces from their collections are! I am majorly crushing on this cape! Tweet me or comment what your must haves are, or even how you would style this tee!

Outfit:  Shirt - H&M     Coat - H&M     Jeans - Miss Selfridge     Studded heels - Primark    Sunglasses - H&M     Ear cuff - Topshop

So this look ended up being created when I was flipping through this months Elle UK magazine. (The one that came with the amaaaazing Benefit Rollerlash mascara!!) There was one particular street style image that really made me want to chuck on a crisp, white shirt! It was paired with baggier, boyfriend jeans compared to what I am wearing here, heels and a blazer. Now I do love looking smart at times, but when I do I always need something to rough it up a little, as I really don't feel like 'me' when it's too polished. Here all I did was chuck on some sunglasses, an ear cuff and a messy ponytail. Just by doing these little additions made me feel much more comfortable and I think shook up the look, where as if I just wore this plainly, it would look a bit 'officey!' If anything, this has reminded my to wear my shirts more often, because although I imagine I am going to look overly smart, when in actuality, when paired with something casual, it can look really chic and fresh!

How do you guys like to style your favourite shirts up?

Outfit:     Cape - H&M      Jeans - Topshop     Boots - Office UK     Blue Shirt - H&M    Bag - DKNY    Fur head band - New Look    Sunglasses - H&M

Fur is one of the main reasons I get excited for the colder months, besides Christmas obviously! Fur gilets, head bands, hats, coats, gloves, fur everything! Of course being a vegetarian I would never dream of wearing real fur and some people may think parading around in faux fur is a bit hypocritical, but hey it's warm and does no harm! I went skiing in the French Alps for my birthday in January and really wanted a band like this as it not only looks the part but is so cosy! People often joke "How can it be warm when all the warmth is escaping from the top of your head?" You'd be surprised how snug one of these little babies is, as well as hiding a multitude of bad hair day sins! So to round this furriness up, I think a bit of fluff here and there is a great way to make a winter outfit look chic and classic, just be careful not to over do it! As warm as all my fur coats and accessories are, you don't want to look like you're in fancy dress as a bear!

Outfit:  Turtle Neck - eBay     Jeans - Topshop     Jacket - Zara     Shoes - Missguided     Sunglasses - H&M

Incase you can't already tell I was utterly channeling my inner Kim K with this look! There's something about the soft palette of her outfits which always looks so chic! It's funny because a few years ago she was most definitely not within my fashion inspiration radar! I am utterly smitten with turtlenecks at the moment, especially this nude one! Don't get me wrong I am a strong devotee of the all black outfit clan (hides a multitude of sins & looks chic!) But There's something about a nude based outfit that is so pleasing to the eye!

Outfit:   Turtle neck - H&M       Leggings - H&M      Knee high boots - New Look      Patent bag - DKNY        Sunglasses - H&M

This turtle neck was love at first sight! You know when you've imagined a piece of clothing in your head and suddenly you walk into a shop and there it is? This was one of those moments! This literally nails all the trends at the moment in terms of knits! Turtle neck? Check. Chunky knit? Check. Split style? Check. Totally, ridiculously cosy? CHECK! Absolutely cannot take this thing off, not only because it's so warm but it goes with virtually anything! These boots (or anything knee/thigh highs) are so easy to wear, not to mention also keep the cold out! I have had them for about 5 years now and have been able to rock them everytime winter swings around because they are a classic! I am just super glad they are extra 'in' this season, I have seen so many fab instagrammers rocking them!
