Outfit: Scarf - Zara Jacket - Topshop Skirt - Nicole in Grey by Leggsington* T shirt - Zara Shoes - New Look
I am a huge, huge fan of anything maxi! Like I mentioned in my post 'the lazy way to dress up' maxi skirts and dresses make life so much easier, especially in winter when we ( I ;-) ) haven't been on top form with my moisturizing and tanning, so naturally this baby covers up a multitude of sins! This is the first look I styled for the wonderful people at Leggsington featuring, of course, the maxi skirt! These guys sure know how to make comfortable and on trend pieces that your legs will love! You are absolutely spoiled for choice on their slick website; joggers, skirts, socks, leggings - you name it! The material of this is so soft and feels extremely well made, so it fits beautifully, hugging all the right places, which lets face it, a lot of maxi skirts hug the wrong places if they are badly made! I feel very elegant wearing it, either dressed up or down like I have done here. The best thing about this is that it is totally trans - seasonal, cool and relaxed in the warmer months and for colder days, pop a pair of tights and boots underneath! Look out for my next post, where I will be styling a very festive feeling velvet skirt!

Outfit: T shirt - Hollister Leather Trousers - H&M Shoes - Steve Madden at Shop Mieux* Belt - Banana Republic at Shop Mieux* Sunglasses - H&M
Welcome to my second post for Shop Mieux! The pieces I am wearing today from them are the shoes (Man those things are high!) and the belt. I have been lusting after a nice, thick, black belt for ages, so from the moment I unwrapped this I knew it would be an everyday staple! I have very strange shaped hips (small hips, big booty ;) ) so trousers often fall down and get baggy! This keeps them where they're supposed to be and pulls an outfit together, crazy how much a little strip of leather can do! Now onto the shoes, these things are a work of art! I don't usually go for patterned or colourful things, but these snakeskin printed platforms really caught my eye! I just think they're really playful, as well as being super comfy thank to the sling back style! I decided to put them with a simple outfit because I prefer to frame the main feature of an ensemble with basic pieces!
So overall I am so, so happy with the things I received, and now constantly browse the site for new bits of eye candy (If you're a bag person you have to check their bags out, they are always getting designer beauties in!) The team are so lovely and friendly, not to mention super helpful, because I am totally useless at online shopping! Considering they came all the way from Texas, the delivery was stupidly fast, I should have filmed my excitement when the post man came! It is really easy to browse and buy from their site, I literally cannot think of a reason why you can't not check them out? Really low price pieces, you can also sell your unwanted items to them, and to top it off they donated over 30,000 lbs of clothes to women in need in 2013, and are trying to break that this year (I'm a sucker for a good cause!)
Please do let me know how you guys get on browsing their stuff, because I can't praise them enough!

Outfit: Dress - Shop Mieux* Jacket - New Look Shoes - Miss KG at Kurt Geiger Bag - DKNY Sunglasses - Ebay Silver Bracelet - Shop Mieux*
So the wonderful guys at Shop Mieux across the pond in America have got in contact with me and asked me to pick a few pieces from their shop to show off to you lovely people! I have two outfits styled with some of the pieces I received from them, so keep your eyes peeled for part two tomorrow! Their whole concept is genius, kind of like a designer and high street online thrift store, so their prices are super affordable, I genuinely had to blink again to check I was seeing it right! Not only do they have really on trend pieces, but if you have any unwanted clothes it is really, really easy to become a seller for them, which is all explained in more depth on their website.
In this post both the dress and the gorgeous little silver bracelet are from Shop Mieux and both are things that I am sure I will wear to death! I adore little dainty silver jewelry and so this will be securely stuck to my wrist! This dress also caught my eye from the second I laid eyes on it, so I'm glad I snapped it up! (You've gotta be hot on it if you see something you like, because obviously everything is a one off!) Here I kind of toughened it up, as on a day to day basis as you can see I have to contrast pretty things with something a little rugged! It has reallly intricate detailing around the sleeves and neck, but the nude colour means it is perfect for a day time look like this, or paired with adorable heels for a more formal affair! I did initially experiment a lot with this dress but in the end, chucking a biker jacket and pair of boots with it was more 'me'!
So watch this space tomorrow for my second outfit and where I will also be talking more about the whole shopping experience with Shop Mieux !

Outfit: Fur Gilet - H&M Jumper - New Look Jeans - Topshop Shoes - Office London Bag - Vintage Louis Vuitton Sunglasses - H&M
Apologies for the brief absence, I was busy cramming in some last minute preparation for my driving test, which I passed first time with 3 minors: VERY HAPPY PRIM! So now with that over and done I can get loads of lovely wintery outfit posts in! So I love, love, love fur gilets, and love wearing this when it gets all cold, the only annoying thing is I am always a bit cold in them so have to layer up with thick jumpers! I am totally lusting after a big black one and chocolate brown, definitely something for Santa's list, especially as I am off skiing in January for my birthday too, so fluffyness is always welcome! What gorgeous pieces have you guys got on your list for Christmas?
